COVID-19 Oxygen Support, New Delhi:

Arjun Marwah’s foundation has been helping the communities in the Jangpura area of Delhi which has been overwhelmed by the spike in demand for hospital beds, oxygen and ambulances during this deadly Covid wave. Marwah foundation set up a makeshift Covid Critical Care Care center  with 13 critical care beds and oxygen supply. The volunteer medical support staff on the ground is triaging high-risk Covid positive patients using telemedicine support, administering Oxygen to stabilize the patients, and transferring severely critical patients who require immediate hospitalization to the local hospitals. The foundation’s free ambulance sewa for hospital transfers has proven critical in many cases, while the langar sewa has supported the basic food needs of the local communities.

Suraksha is sending much needed Oxygen concentrators (10 LPM) and other PPE supplies to Marwah Foundation and has also committed to sponsoring their upcoming food drives in Anna Nagar and other slums. Suraksha’s Delhi-based partner Pran Vayu Sewa, a humanitarian relief group and its volunteers on the ground have been instumental in coordinating with Arjun’s team and overseeing the support efforts.
